Before any listing goes live, the seller completes a three-step verification: their Malaysian phone number via OTP, a MyKad scan (OCR extracts name + IC number), then a live facial liveness check matched to the MyKad photo. Failed attempts are flagged and reviewed manually.
Sellers fill out game details, rank, screenshots, and price in Ringgit. Our review team manually checks all listings for accuracy within 2–4 hours before they appear in the marketplace. Fraudulent or misleading listings are permanently banned.
When the buyer confirms their purchase, payment goes directly into the Kentang escrow account — not to the seller. The seller is notified and has 12 hours to hand over account credentials. The buyer's money cannot be touched until they confirm access.
Sellers send login credentials through Kentang's encrypted messaging system — never via WhatsApp or external channels. The buyer receives a notification with login details and has 24 hours to verify the account matches the listing description.
Buyer clicks "Confirm — Account Received". Escrow releases funds to the seller's registered bank account or eWallet within 1 business day. If the buyer raises a dispute within 24 hours, our team investigates and resolves within 48 hours.
